Preserve laserdiscs of the X-files with an acquisition via domesday duplicator?

I don’t have either a domesday duplicator or the X-Files laserdiscs but I just thought self it would be fair to preserve if someone is able to do it? it would be worth it. Are American or Japanese laserdiscs superior to DVDs?

I think it would be good to keep the first four seasons
