In terms of the prequel trilogy The Phantom Menace is a mediocre film with some good qualities.
The other 2 prequels were mostly messes and Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker was not the noble figure that Obi Wan Kenobi spoke of in A New Hope, he even feels like the template for Kylo Ren.
The strange thing is they could’ve easily been salvaged.
Couldn’t they have probably had Ben Barnes as Anakin Obi Wan’s swashbuckling heroic ally, also could’ve gone with eg, Debbie McWilliams as the casting director instead of Robin Gurland, Samuel L Jackson could have been left out and Mace Windu scrapped, overrated actor in my opinion and Windu a generic bland character, long neck Jedi, gas mask Jedi and injured Goblin Jedi were just odd, Darth Maul could’ve been given a bigger role and his scheme is to bring The Sith back to prominence, scrap Jar Jar Binks and the Gungans, have a puppet Yoda that looks like the Yoda from The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi, voila better than the original film.
The other 2 imagine if Chris Columbus or Andrew Adamson had directed?
Episode 2, The plot’s a sinister army of clones has been unleashed and the Rebellion has been established to stop said threat, Palpatine intends to stop the Clone Wars by creating The Empire, Anakin’s goal is to turn the tide on the war, Palpatine tells him the only way to destroy the dark side is to join it. Count Nellith (Christopher Lee) wants revenge against the Jedi for not letting him become the most powerful of all but by the end comes to his senses and befriends Obi Wan also he doesn’t want Anakin to become figuratively the man he became. Anakin has turned and the galaxy is in peril, cliffhanger.
Episode 3, Obi Wan Kenobi and the Jedi are on the run, betrayed by Chancellor Palpatine, Obi Wan faces a mysterious threat Darth Vader but does he really want to find out he truly is.
