  2. Mandalorian seasons 1-2
  3. Rebels
  4. Mando s3
  5. Ahsoka

  7. Bad Batch
  8. BOBF
  9. Obi-Wan
  10. Droids
  11. TOTJ
  12. Ewoks

Haven’t seen (yet!): Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars, Resistance, Visions, Forces of Destiny

I have to say, only the top 3 shows are the ones that I truly loved. Clone Wars has some genuinely great episodes, but an awful lot of mediocrity as well.

Creme de la creme of live action and animation, respectively, for me:

  • Andor
  • Acolyte
    and
  • Clone Wars (the original one, especially the later, longer episodes)
  • Visions (I’ve seen maybe half of it, but what I’ve seen was very creative)

and as for the rest,

  • most of the animated ones I haven’t seen enough of, for TCW I can say it’s pretty okay, sometimes great, sometimes frustrating
  • same verdict on live action Filoniverse, except maybe more okay and less great or bad

reylo?

The clone wars
The Mandalorian
Rebels
Ahsoka
The acolyte
Kenobi
Skeleton crew
Andor
Book of Boba Fett
Resistance

Haven’t seen enough of Bad Batch, Tales and Clone Wars '03 to include in the ranking. Completely missed out on Visions.

Funny thing about Andor, everyone loves it but I never got the hype. But I’ll probably rewatch S01 before S02 comes out. Maybe I’ll like it more the second time.

All right.

Andor - Wonderful slow moving show

Clone Wars (2003) - awesome to experience as the real-time bridge between Ep2 and Ep3

Mandalorian - fun cultural event, ran out of steam after a while

Obi Wan Kenobi - Not actively bad but is a slog; much better as a movie

Book of Boba Fett - big pile of meh, but was enjoyable enough to sit through once; low rewatchability

Bad Batch - perfect idea: side characters who aren’t directly related to galaxy-shaking events going on weekly missions

Ahsoka - as someone who doesn’t really appreciate the 2008 clone wars series all that much, this was sort of boring for me

The Clone Wars (2008) - it’s hideously ugly, and the political and war themes feel weird and disjointed when poured into children’s cartoon format

Rebels - similar as above, but Ezra is so grating and I’d approve of it more if it didn’t involve previously unknown Jedi

Resistance - just not for me, unwatchable as an adult

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

My list:
Animated:

  1. Clone Wars (2003)

1.1 Visions

1.2 Tales Of The Jedi

  1. Clone Wars (2008/9)

  2. Rebels

Live action:

  1. The Mandalorian season 1&2 only

  2. Ashoka

I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.

Star Wars has 3 eras: The eras are 1977-1983(pre Expanded Universe), (1983-2014) expanded universe, or (2014- now) Disney-bought version. Each are valid.

My movie reviews aren’t AI, they’re just written by someone who’s Neurodivergent. If you don’t like them, then simply don’t read them.
