Very, very sad news. I wasn't particularly surprised but I was certainly saddened last night to hear of his passing. His health had been in decline for a number of years, particularly since his MS diagnosis in '86. Very, very sad.

His unique comedic voice brought laughs and insights to many of us, and he'll be sorely missed. Luckily we still have all the recordings and video to watch and listen to.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Pryor. May the next life bring you as many laughs as you brought the rest of us in this one.
