That ending was… not great tbh.

It almost feels like there was more filmed but it got cut out because they decided to not continue this story anymore. Like, what even happened to Jod? Any other show would have shown him in Republic custody, or escaping on some secret shuttle. They could have even given KB more physical disabilities from the crash so that she’s even more of a cyborg - at least any sort of consequences.

What a disappointment. At least 6 / 8 episodes are extremely good Star Wars, but of course the last one is lackluster.
