My name is Roman and I am from Ukraine.
I synchronized the Ukrainian translation of “Star Wars” for the “Despecialized trilogy”.
In Ukraine, we have three voice options:
- Many voiceover. The TV channel “1+1” broadcast the SE 1997 version in 2002-2004.
- Many voiceover. The “ICTV” TV channel broadcast the SE 2004 version in 2009.
- Official dubbed voiceover (6 chanel audio) by studio “LeDoyen”. The TV channel “UFO.TV” broadcast in 2016-2018.
Please include the soundtracks I made in future updates of your videos.

I’m listening to the dubs now. Wow, this sounds much better than our current Ukrainian mono audio! Thank you so much. I will likely add these to my own collection once I’ve had a chance to listen all the way through.
Can you tell me if Ukrainian audiences have a preference for dubs vs voiceovers? Most audiences seem to prefer dubs, but I know opinions are strongly divided in Poland, for example.
