Wendie Jo Sperber, who played Michael J. Fox's older sister in all three Back to the Future films, died on Nov. 30 after contracting cancer; the actress, who was also a regular on the sitcom Bosom Buddies opposite Tom Hanks, was 46, the Associated Press reported.

Knew about that one. She's had cancer for some time and had established a foundation that Tom Hanks works actively with. He was one of the first to put out a public statement after her death.

Yeah, I read about that recently. She'd been struggling with it for years. I'm not sure why I didn't start this thread. I just didn't think about it. It made me really sad to find out about it. And just to clarify, her character wasn't in the second BTTF movie, only talked about.
