Hey adywan, any plans to revisit how Han falls from the skiff during the Sail barge scenes. In the process of doing some work on the soundtrack (namely reincorporating unused music ques) I have been forced to watch these shots over and over. I have grown to believe these are some of the worst and incomprehensible shots in any of the movies.
It’s almost cartoonist how Han hangs upside down seemingly by the strength of his ankles. I don’t think the updated CGI ropes help that much. What is needed is a closeup of Chewie grabbing his legs as he falls.
The infamous shot follows a long shot right before where Han is falling in a much different and more horizontal way then he ends up. If one was ambitious that shot could even be extended to continue the fall into his final position as Chewie grabs him.
Either way it’s as it stands now awful and I feel as egregious as the phantom force kick.
