But there's nothing really groundbreaking or innovative about it. It's nothing that I have never seen before (I admit it's very well done, better than any other CGI space battle). The T-1000 in T2 has been surpassed, but remains a classic of CGI. The Matrix introduced Bullet time and various other CGI techniques - classic. Gollum was the first really believable CGI character, largely thanks to Andy Serkis' Mocap acting (Jar Jar Binks was intended to be classic and is admittedly quite an achievement, but he aint no Gollum). These are modern CGI classics. ROTS Is just the same old stuff, only bigger, louder, 'faster, more intense'. Nothing new.

That's not to say it's not cool though.
