I'm under 25. The prequels and SE both suck and blow at the same time, which is quite an achievement.

every change is the worst change in the whole trilogy.

additionally, who else does this. i mean, you dont see other directors going back and severly changing their beloved blockbuster movies. he's just a second-rate perfectionist, the worst kind.

Yes, they do. You know why? THEY. OWN. THEM, THEY ARE THE ARTIST. They can do whatever the hell they want without having to listen to outside forces.

At least he's not like some franchise owners *cough paramount cough* who discourage fan edits. Some of the Lucasfilm officials (ex. Sansweet) have publically even endorsed it.

I agree with Adam "shock"

Me personally as annoyed/cheesed off i am he wont release the O.O.T etc, i will give him/Lucasfilm his/their due they do seemingly not mind/turn a blind a eye to the O.T and P.T edits which I do watch if I want to watch the SE etc and like better than the Offical O.T & P.T DVDs and semmingly dont mind/turn a blind eye to the preservation work of the O.O T which goes on here, when they could be very anal about it. but that does not excuse the O.O.T being released officialy etc however, but i will give credit where i think it is due.
