I watched the first episode. My main criticism is that you don’t linger long enough on establishing shots, giving the edit a rushed, sometimes confusing feel.
Thanks for the feedback GLogus! I really value this type of feedback. As I’ve become exceedingly familiar with Rebels, confusion while watching becomes a difficult thing for me to judge when viewing.
Are you able to point to any direct examples? I’m fairly sure this is a result of the original work. I can think of a few examples that I’ve had to shorten an establishing shot for a wipe transition but as far as I’m aware these instances are few and far between.
Do you have any advice on how to remedy this? I’ll be returning to the first episode to implement feedback soon so any more on this point would be amazing 😃
