That is an excellent idea. The show will be much stronger when there is much more sacrifice and pain. You cannot have a small group of rebels competing against a galactic empire without enduring painful losses. I do not recall how the episode ended, but the show should give you a constant feeling that painful sacrifices are being made.

Unfortunately, I also felt the show would have been much stronger had Ahsoka remained dead following her selfless sacrifice against Vader, and Ezra really did sacrifice himself, but their characters are needed for other shows (Mandalorian and Ahsoka).
