hi all,

I've had some PMs asking for a copy of this. Before I send out anything as a final release, I'm still hanging out for some help on a new opening crawl, or if not that, then some ideas on how I could give this movie an individuality of it's own....

any sugestions?

Do have any menus on this thing? Animated menus are da best.

If I was you, I'd make a quick opening video clip of footage you are using. Making of, cut scenes, documentary, all of that. Personally, I'd fade the clips in and out from black. Sort how the episode 2 "Breathing" Trailer looked. And wrap it all up with a cool logo for what ever it is you are naming your project.

Well, I've gotta say I'm slightly disappointed (or maybe that should be humbled), with the lack of attention this project has been getting, but then I also realised I haven't given many specifics about the project. However, I really can't be doing with documenting every clip I've inserted and where.

As far as distribution goes, I'm gonna try and start a PiF chain here. If I send out 5 copies* to the first 5 people to PM me, offering to forward another 2 each when they recieve their copies, hopefully that will start the ball rolling, and generate some feedback.

* I know 5 seems like a low amount, especially the enthusiasm I have for this project, but I'm guessing these will be headed stateside and hey, Christmas is coming, and I need my cash!

Also, as stated before, if I can ever create a better opening title sequence, I reserve the right to release a ver1.1 or even a Special Edition

So, interested partys PM away!

I'm enthusiastic about your project. Anyone ready to tackle such a huge project is ok by me.

I wonder if the slight lack of attention is because it relates to a non OT film. I know my enthusiasm for the PT is nowhere near as big.

That said, I am really looking forward to getting a copy of this somewhere down the line.

I'd call it 'The Sith Revealed: Lost Scenes ane Editing Secrets of Revenge of the Sith'. Kind of an homage to my favorite documentary.

I might just do that Sluggo, but then you just know that people are going to want the full 6 disc Lost Editing Secrets set to make their dvd collection

*EDIT* then again, it dosen't actually contain lost scenes (well, a few seconds worth), so I make it '...Moviemaking Secrets Of...'

Too bad about the deleted scenes. I know what you mean about the 6 DVD set. With your project and Jambre's Builiding Empire, I think we are right on track to get something like that done. I've always considered these projects cousins of each other. (And honestly, if you don't tell anyone about it, I'm thinking of tackling the Phantom Menace myself)

In going with that "family theme", should all these projects be subtitled: Lost Scenes and Editing Secrets of ___________? They're certainly looking to be a lot more in depth than anything official we've been presented with, and these fan projects being more consistent with each other than Lucasfilm's documentaries would really drive the point home.

I have been toying with the idea or doing similar things with Episodes I & II, since there is the same amount (well, maybe a bit less) of material available on the dvd's and Hyperspace

I'm still trying to download that clip from Demonoid. I've had it going for the last week or so and am only at 2.4 % completed. Is anyone else having this problem? I kow I would post my thoughts if I could actually watch the thing.

If someone has this file already and could see about hosting it somewhere so that the rest of us can download it I would really appreciate it.

with regards to the people trying to download the clip from demonoid, it appears the problems lie here. After restarting my computer, I noticed 'dooku' was reading as only 2.4% complete in my torrent window. which is odd, since I put the file in the folder so it should be complete. since restarting again, and reinserting the complete file, it now reads at 99.93%. Puzzled the hell outta me...
