Just to add a little perspective here: The movies may not be appreciated by many here (and I have problems with TPM and AOTC just like a lot of you) but if the years between 13 and 19 seriously hinged on whether 3 movies were good or not, chances are there wasn't going to be that much celebrating in your life in the first place

Lucas didn't MAKE you slave your adolescence to the prequel trilogy. and I'm sure Gaffer managed to enjoy life whether or not there were three good star wars movies as he matured into adulthood.
