I don't have a timetable for it yet, but it *IS* on the list, and very near the top. I'd hoped to get started with some transfers this week, but the wifey's gone cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs selling old collectibles on eBay. Right now the computer room's full of storage crates sorted into photographed, listed and sold, and cardboard boxes full of cardboard boxes, all of which leaves me no place to safely set up the LD player.

Rest assured, it will get done, and it'll be distributed through whatever means are available. Some other LD transfers I'm planning:

King Kong/Son of Kong -- ADigitalMan and I started conspiring on this before the new DVD was announced, so I'm gonna do it first just out of principle
Looney Tunes -- everything on the Golden Age of Looney Tunes vol. 1 LD that isn't on DVD yet
Citizen Kane -- there's a supplement on the 2nd CAV Criterion set that has interviews and comments with several filmmakers, 4 at a time onscreen with their voices on different audio tracks. Not sure how I'll handle it yet, but it'll be interesting.
The Lion King -- it's subtle, but roughly 20% of the film was re-animated for the IMAX release that the DVD came from.
Knick Knack -- Pixar short from 1989, included on the Toy Story CAV LD. When it was re-released with Finding Nemo, the blonde figurine had undergone a significant breast reduction. Boobs = good.

There are several other titles where I'm gonna sift and compare LD and DVD supplements and transfer things that didn't get ported over.
