The Brothers Grimm (2005)
Terry Gilliam does CGI and honestly does it much better than many others. A good looking film indeed but not that great fairly mediocre with flashes of brilliance. This is no “Brasil” effectively Gilliam let the studio change as much as they would like this time rather than fight over a preferred vision.
There is however a Gilliam version. It would never be ushered in with the same fanfare as “Brasil” but a better version does exist.

Different Jokes that you would expect from a Terry Gilliam Movie which were all removed focus on making Matt Damon a more conventional fantasy lead character. Big Character re-write.

Tbe Prologue of the finished film was a flashback in the third act, revealing key information about the heroes that had been obscurred up until this point.
Gilliam walked away without expressing any interest of re-creating his vision on this one and vowed never to work with Weinstein again. Still it could be interesting if he was to change his mind. A directors cut could elevate this film to better standing with a lack of fantasy films in recent years. There are many deleted scenes on the DVD.
Braveheart (1995)
Around another hour of material exists. Gorier Battle scenes were censored. Some small extra plot scenes made there way into TV edits in the US Broadcast. Sadly the uncensored version has never been released.
