I’m thinking of acquiring one of these laserdisc preservations. Having had a quick browse through the thread, the JSC (Japanese Special Collection) appears to highly regarded. Does this have the best picture quality of the laserdisc preservations to date?
I’m also looking forward to the Japanese Pan And Scan releases.

I have captured some versions, but unfortunately my laserdiscs have some problems in the final minutes and the video cuts out (typical old laserdisc problem)

I really would love to see the Japanese Laserdisc preservation of the From Star Wars to Jedi The Making of a Saga documentary that was included in the 1995 Japanese Star Wars Trilogy Collector’s Set Laserdisc set. I have looked everywhere to see if there were video captures of the Japanese laserdisc of the From Star Wars to Jedi documentary but no luck, it’s only VHS captures of the documentary. I really would like to see what the Japanese Laserdisc transfer for From Star Wars to Jedi looks like, I’m already extremely curious. Hopefully an MKV file of the Japanese Laserdisc of From Star Wars to Jedi would finally be watchable on the internet.

I really want to get MKV files for the Japanese 1995 Laserdisc release of the Star Wars trilogy titled Star Wars Trilogy Collector’s set. The big highlight about that specific Laserdisc set is that it includes the documentary From Star Wars to Jedi The Making of A Saga. This particular Japanese laserdisc boxset is the only way you can officially watch the documentary in higher quality. If anyone has full MKV files of Japanese 1995 Star Wars laserdisc set with From Star Wars to Jedi please let me know.
