Happy Star Wars day! I made a trailer for a fanedit I’m working on I wanted to share:

A lot of things in here are stolen or copied from my favorite fanedits (as well as fan trailers). The only original things are:
-lightsaber colors in Attack of the Clones
-Jabba in ANH
-Yoda in the prequels

I never liked the way cg jabba looked when they did the special editions of ANH, but I didn’t hate that added scene as much as some Star Wars fans. In 2017 I bought a 3d model of Jabba off of cgtrader and during grad school I got cheap access to Maya, but it took me about a year to complete, with no background in 3d animation.
I don’t think it’s perfect, but my goal was to make it better than the original, which I think I achieved. Either way, I think it looks more like Jabba in ROTJ. Here’s a comparison with the original:
