Help Wanted: Request - Sound FX for ROTJ finale

I’m looking to re-create the sounds heard in the finale of the ROTJ SE without any background music (working on a pet project). I’m currently in need of:

  1. Twin-Pod Cloud car passing by

  2. Cheering crowds

  3. The “rumble” from Palpatine’s statue falling down.

  4. Fireworks.

Some of these can likely be supplemented from Non-SW sources, but the cloud car will be hard to reproduce from other sources. Any ideas?

Aren't there a couple of Bespin shots where the cloud car flies by without background music? Have you tried looking at the SEs or DVDs? At the very least, you might be able to extract the cloud car sound from one of the speakers of the 5.1 soundtrack.

I looked into this ... especially around chapters 35 & 37. The most unfortunate problem is music and other ambient noise (an especially prominent Chewie growl messed up perhaps the cleanest version). I'm still listening though.

It sounds almost like a formula engine, but not anything like what I've dug up so far in Google.

For the cloud car, maybe you should look (or perhaps hear) in the SW videogames. It's a good source for SW soundFXs. It's not HIGH quality sounds, but...
