It also contains some views often posted on here, along with some alternative views on the worldbuilding and consistency of storytelling and canon in Star Wars; especially in the Disney-owned era. The video also covers the topic of fans’ investment and immersion in the Star Wars universe being challenged and taken for granted when that consistency of worldbuilding, storytelling, or canon, is contradicted or retconned in later stories.
The video is 3+ hours long, though I break these type of ‘deep dive’ takes down into 30 minute long ‘podcast’ segments, when going for a walk, run or just tinkering around, and it doesn’t feel that long when doing it this way. Plus, I don’t think I could sit down and listen to videos lasting this long in just one sitting.
