Re-working my version of the Prequels: 'Star Wars: Episode 2: Labyrinth of Evil'

Lately, I’ve ended up re-working my Star Wars prequel fan edits with a fun question in mind:

What if Tiffany Grant, voice of the ADV dub of Evangelion’s Asuka Langley Soryu, performed as Ahsoka Tano?

This is not intended as disrespectful to Ahsoka’s original voice actress, Ashley Eckstein, and I understand if it may not necessarily match some people’s personal preference.

It’s mainly just a fun project to explore the performance of an alternate voice actress.

I understand that most, if not all, of us have ambitions to edit the prequels to help make them better. At the same time, that’s a subjective ideal. Also, some edits are simply personal preferences. Believe it or not, that’s okay. In other words, please just let me have my fun. 😃

With that said, here is my change list:

*Video begins with the Battle of Christophsis, as seen in ‘The Clone Wars’ 2008 film.
*Omits anything and everything to do with mission to rescue son of Jabba the Hutt.
*Shows montage featuring trials, tribulations, and training of Ahsoka Tano; set to music track “A Step Forward Into Terror” from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
*Shows full story arc about the attack on the Jedi Temple.
*Includes cheeky Evangelion reference: “It’s simply the duty of the Jedi to protect the ignorant masses.” It’s a slight re-wording of Asuka’s line from the second Evangelion Rebuild movie: “It’s simply the duty of the elite to protect the ignorant masses.”
*Credits begin to roll after Ahsoka Tano leaves the Jedi Temple.
*Teases Ahsoka Tano contacting Anakin and Obi-Wan about Maul on Mandalore and planning to capture him.
*Full credits from the 2008 movie roll.

At the moment, this is a work in progress.

Nobody asked for this, but I figured I’d explain why I’m implementing this new idea to my fan edits:

On Reddit, I heard about Tiffany Grant’s eBay store under her handle “AnimeBuyer;” of course, the buyer has become a seller.

Somehow, I ended up talking about my Star Wars fan edits, and then she ended up talking about how the original Star Wars trilogy affected her childhood.

She sounded so passionate about Star Wars, and she’s a voice actress, so after I woke up from an after-work nap, I messaged her about an idea to have her re-dub Ahsoka Tano in her voice.

TL;DR: Tiffany Grant sounded so passionate about Star Wars that I ended up straight-up giving / gifting her a Star Wars role that I’d think would be appropriate for her, in the only way I would be able to.
