I watched this last night and had a blast! I never really gave this show a chance but this edit made me want to watch the rest of it. The pacing was great in this, it didn’t even feel like 3 hours. Editing was seamless. I’m in the middle of a Star Wars Marathon, so just watched a siege of Mandalore/Rots edit, and this was a perfect follow up to that. Super excited to watch the rest of the series through your edits. Thanks Smudger9!
Thanks for the feedback. I think Bad Batch is an underrated series. Once the side quests are removed, there is a terrific story which fleshes out the Republic/Empire transition.
Episode 2 is progressing well.
I’m 80% done with the second cut. Just the final 2 episodes to do, which play out pretty much in sequence so far less editing needed. All the tricky transitions between the three main stories have been done and it’s all coming together nicely. Looking at 2h30 length, which is great.
