“Causalogically LOST” is what “Chronologically LOST” should have been, the absolute best experience not only for a first time viewer, but also for re-watching as well…with one caveat.
You need to start watching “Causalogically LOST” at the exact same moment the series started; September 22, as Oceanic 815 takes off, specifically when the flight attendant gives Jack a drink.(“Causalogically LOST” obviously doesn’t start here, you have to skip all the flashbacks and start at episode 15 “September 22” at around the 40 minute mark.)
The key to this experience is following the Oceanic 815 stories exclusively; they don’t know anything about anyone else, and so the viewer doesn’t know about anyone else. By removing the backstories, you focus entirely on the actual story as it happens. Now, the first time the survivors meet anyone else on the island, is the first time we meet them. We only experience what they experience, as they experience it.
After that story concludes, and thanks to Wigjuice it is the ultimate retelling of arguably the ultimate serialized TV show, THEN you can go back to episode one of “Causalogically LOST” to view all the flashbacks as fascinating sort of prequel or prologue.
