Oddly, most of the tv dvd sets I own are recent shows. I only say oddly because that seems to be against what other people are saying. I'm finding myself drawn into some of the shows that seem made for DVD release. Lost is a perfect example of that. I watched a few episodes when it was on, but really couldn't follow it because I would be out of the house. Owning it on DVD, though, is awesome. It really is a great show and one of many that seem made for DVD. Look at the new BSG. They're releasing a season 2.0 dvd before the end of the season, and then 2.5 later on! More and more, tv shows are becoming events, and are being marketed toward the DVD audience.
