Yeah, I will definately need a good cover, but I don't have photoshop, or the available software, not to mention the skill. Maybe we can get coov or Boba Feta to make a cover for it.

I seem to like this one best from that site. I think it could be altered to fit this project.:

When do you think this is gonna be done- I'd like to hand these out Christmas eve to my little cousins.

Wasn't this whole project achieved by HanSolo77's DVD? I remember downloading the DarthGates remaster of it from the Spleen.

klokwerk, no, becuase he didn't have access to the CW Vol II DVD.

WESHALLPRESERVE, I'm not sure exactly when it would be done, it's all in the planning at the moment. I'll check into the Han77 project, maybe I can use that for chapters 1-20 (will save me work;P). And I'll work on 21-25 after I have the official CW Vol II DVD when it comes out in December, and I'll have to get ahold of someones digital recordings from TV. Then I can combine it all and finish the project.

I will watch it tonight to know if the two episodes are complete

Well, Hansolo77 also did a Season 2 DVD. I think his 2 DVDs are exactly what you're trying to achieve here - except that his was spread across 2 different DVDs (one for each season). The major difference is that you will be splicing the broadcast captures with DVD footage to get the highest possible quality, yes?

Exactly. Where can I find the HanSolo77 copy, so I can "steal" some of his work to combine with the DVD footage?

Don't mean to steer this topic off-track, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a torrent for the bonus lightsaber dvd that Ash595 has. Any info on where I could find it would be appreciated. So I don't hijack Adamwankenobi's thread anymore any details can be PM'ed to me.

Thanks again.

Good. Thanks. They didn't have ending credits, anyway, I don't think, just the Lucasfilm/Cartoon Network bumpers at the end of each episode. And those can be easily ripped from the end of the official Clone Wars DVDs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but technically isn't the only thing that's missing from the official DVD the words "Chapter X"? The Clone Wars logo is at the beginning. So why not just use the titles from the hyperspace hi-res files?
Author
Time
You are coorect. But, you can't download directly the Hyperspace Hi-res files, plus I would rather use TV footage for this. And, on the DVD's, the "Star Wars: Clone Wars" title is not at the beginning of each episode, only at the beginning of the entire "movie."

You can download the hyperspace hi-res episodes (I've already done it). Just look the source code of the video web page, and you'll find the adress of the video.
BTW, I'm doing that for every Hyperspace video...

OK, thanks, I'll check it out. But I still plan to use the official DVD's for that part of my project.

I just took a look at the chapters posted at the OS. They have the Cartoon Netwrok logos at the bottom of each episode, so they wouldn't be usable for my purposes anyway.
Author

It would work. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the only non-DVD source that we need the chapter numbers? Which have a black background? Just paste black over the logo and make a custom fade into the DVD episode footage.
Author
Time
I would like to make the transitions from our TV footage to the DVD just as the episodes originally were, which was actually a straight cut from the chapter designation to the episode content.
Author
Time
I don't have the files anymore, and I was assuming it was a fade-in, based on the Volume II files I still have.
Author
Time
No, in each episode, after the Chapter designation comes up, the screen is black for a second, then immediately cuts to the beginning of an episode. That's the way they were aired on TV at least, which is how I want to restore them to.

Um, I was explaining why I said what I said, not trying to correct you.
