Very good edit
So far I’ve only seen Part 1.
I decided early to take a break and not watch the actual show as it is released but to wait for the edit. I tried to avoid spoilers but still heard comments about the show being bloated and plodding.

So this review does not take a perspective of comparing the edit to the original but just the enjoyment value as an edit.

Part 1 of this edit flowed smoothly and on a technical level it was executed professionally. Also from a story point of view it flowed well and didn’t feel like it had the same criticisms about bloat.

I measure a bloated series by how inclined I am to go and look at my phone.

I could nitpick on a few seconds here and there that could be tightened but it’s not critical
