Whoah pardner - I never said I didn't like any of Kubrick films. I recognize the greatness of his early works, but I merely stated that he is overated. Many people are quick to praise his genius without backing it up, and I'm calling AWK out on it. I am interested in a provoking dicsussion with AWK regarding Kubrick's filmic legacy.

I have my reasoning, which, I would welcome a discussion of but first I'd like to hear from Adam on the subject.

Perhaps this isn't the place though...

I'd love to have a discussion on Kubrick's films, but I do agree that perhaps the Off-Topic forum would be a better place for it. I agree with Cassidy, for the most part. I mean, Kubrick is dead. Hard to argue that.
