Hi Guys,

I'm not sure if the is the correct thread for this, but was there any news regarding the Making of Superman III documentary - looking to make myself a double-disc set along with Rik's Extended DVD to sit next toe S2RIC.

I wish I had a copy of the Making of Superman 3 - I do have the making of's Superman The Movie and Superman 2 and I will be uploading these in a few weeks!

I am the guy who has The Making of Superman III on a Beta SP PAL. Of course I have transferred it on a DVDR last year. It is the best quality available.

Whats the story on someone viewing Superman IV on TV with first nuclear man scenes? this a hoax right? He said he couldn't tape it because his vcr was broken !! A longer version will pop up one day. They always do.

I'm not sure what scenes this person is talking about, but there was supposed to be some extended/extra scenes with the first nuclear man. Some photos have popped up of these scenes, but they are supposed to be long lost. I think it might of had a viewing or two, but definitely not on TV or anything like that. What is available is on the Superman IV extended that is talked about here. It could be a hoax, mistaken, or a "I saw the Biggs scenes in the theatre!" type thing.

Didn't know there was a making of Superman III. Was it originally a TV special, like most of the making of's from this time period? Hope to see it on a torrent soon.

It runs 46 minutes and it looks like the first two Making of Superman. on the Beta SP PAL, I have two audio options, with or without a english voice over. But I have only transferred the Making of on dvd with the voice over.

I don't know if it was broadcasted anywhere in the world.

I mean I've only uploaded 70 DVD's in the last few years and would like to take a break and download something for a change - actually I'd like to download some of your DVD's

It can be very hard to find time to download stuff when you are always uploading, I feel your pain.

hey guts theres two superman 16mm prints up for sale on ebay. One is a fullscreen t.v. print of the first superman, and the second is one of the sequels in scope and theatrical.

also for those star wars fans there is an auction with a starting price over 2,000 dollars for all three star wars trilogy films in 16mm sound and color and not the special editions.

I got Ash's Making of Superman 3. OUTSTANDING quality! Makes me wish I had gotten into Beta instead! Will definitely be torrenting it along with the making of the first 2.

I believe that the quality must be really great. And since this was never released on home video or even shown on TV (as far as I'm aware), I'm just wondering where it came from. Also, I think I remember reading you stating that it had two audio tracks is that correct?

no, The Beta SP tape has two tracks, the DVDR I made, only one.
