Seeing a new clip from you SSWR brings warm feelings to my heart. š
Have you considered cutting something in the shot of Mace defending Dooku? I just feel like heās patronizing towards Padme. I would probably cut the last line, āItās not in his characterā. The longer that shot keeps going, the more smiling and patronizing he seems. Also, I think it makes him and the Jedi look dumb since we find out that Dooku indeed is involved.
But good stuff!
This is a very interesting idea. That particular exchange was always awkward, wasnāt it? I had a good think on it and tested it out. I wasnāt sure because, at first, I thought that line would be necessary. But I was wrong! It works very well without it and the point still comes across. Thanks for the idea!
One bit thatās probably impossible to do anything about but has bugged me all these years. The film makes out sword fighting and acrobatics are more impressive than throwing the ceiling at people and making electricity spark out of your finger tips (something the Palpatine should be the only user really but I digress). For me it makes more sense if Yoda and Dooku use sabers first magic next. It leads into Dooku dropping a large pipe on Kenobi and Skywalker if they are at that point chucking the architecture at each other.

Iām planning on cutting Yoda out. This will be about Dooku/Anakin. Iām finding some interesting ways of adding on to that fight while hopefully taking out the umā¦maclunky parts. š
