Black jerseys?!? What are you smoking? We have white jerseys and we have blue jerseys. Black is not one of the Bears' colors.

The orange jerseys are not replicas of the 40s throwbacks. They actually are just a direct color conversion of our current home jerseys. I believe we also use them in intrasquad scrimmages. Maybe even in the preseason to some degree. No throwback intended whatsoever. It was a PR stunt. They wanted to fill the stadium with people in orange. Didn't quite work.

But, hey! We're on a five-game win streak!
