Apparently there is a new 4 disc ultimate edition coming out, which irritates me because I have the original DVD boxset, but am a massive BTTF fan so will need to buy this too - why can't they just get it right the first time?!

Yeah, but at least they did that with the Batman Box Set; the only problem there is, it's actually cheaper to buy all 4 movies than to buy the first 2.

Man, this is my favourite movie next to Star Wars. I might have to buy it. I eagerly await Dayv's review.

That sure is some ugly packaging though. The UK version of the original release is soooooo much nicer than the American version.

They had problems getting clearance from Eric Stoltz to release his footage. I doubt it'll be on this new set.

I never got the first boxset, and I heard it had framing issues.

What is the ETA of the Region 1 set?

From what I heard the framing issue only involved PartIII. I and II are fine, I beleive. Dayv, is what I said correct?

Meh. The Back to the Future DVDs, framing issues or not, have other problems. There is terrible artifacting (I think that's what they call it) on the reds, especially Marty's jacket in part two.
