Could you try applying the same effect to the AI line? Because now the AI line is very clear while the other line has more artifacts present.

When I do that, it just makes it the same relative difference as I started with. But with this slight clipping of the original line there is less contrast with the new AI line.
Again, translations are welcome, as this is a line I wouldn’t trust to an AI translator:
“You’re a ghost, in a rotting clone.”
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

Spanish:
Eres un fantasma, en un clon decadente.
This is exciting stuff. Hal, do you have a list of the V3 changes on hand?

Added a line for Kylo Ren calling Palpatine “a ghost in a rotting clone” (AI voice provided by Jar Jar Bricks)
Added ‘Sith Eyes’ to ‘Evil Rey,’ including replacing her milky eyes for one shot (FX by Burbin)
Reinstated previously cut dialogue as the heroes reunite at the Resistance base, replacing the term ‘lightspeed skipping’ with ‘lightspeed ramming’ (AI voice provided by Jar Jar Bricks)
New dialogue for Poe during the briefing scene establishes clearly that the Final Order fleet consists of modified ships from the Empire, rather than implying they were built from the ground up later on (AI voice provided by Jar Jar Bricks)
Added two short, unobtrusive new lines for Leia to Rey (AI voice provided by Jar Jar Bricks)
Added new dialogue for Kylo Ren during his ‘ForceTime’ duel with Rey to provide a more focused retcon of TLJ and make it explicit that Rey’s parents paid Unklar Plutt rather than selling her (AI provided by Jar Jar Bricks)
Replaced Kylo Ren’s line “I never lied to you” with “You were right” for more intuitive and precise continuity with TLJ even as the scene retcons it. In that film, it is Rey herself who supplies the information that her parents “were nobody.” (AI voice provided by Jar Jar Bricks; voiceover provided for prior versions by poppasketti)
Altered Kylo Ren’s line to, “We’ve become a dyad in the Force,” which feels like it builds on TLJ’s ending (AI voice provided by Jar Jar Bricks; audio used in prior versions from sherlockpotter)*
Replaced the obtuse reminder while working on the Falcon that 3PO had his memory erased in the form of a line wishing they had an R2 unit to help (AI voice provided by Jar Jar Bricks; audio provided for prior versions by Chase Adams)
As 3PO has his memory restored, he no longer implies this was Rey’s very first mission, as it either has or will surely be retconned by ancillary material (AI voice provided by Jar Jar Bricks)
The FX for Leia’s now purple lightsaber has been color corrected to look less pink during sequences on Exegol than in prior versions (color correction by Burbin, FX by Skenera)
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

I know Vader’s voice talking to Kylo has already sorta been nipped in the bud I think I’ve been able to improve a little bit the Vader clone. I’ll share the proof-of-concept in case it inspires any interest: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d3QH003H8McevbQt8RRX0-qh3ufiZrgs/view?usp=sharing
The reverb, EQ or even dialogue can be toyed with.
It’s sort of a way to create a tenous link between the Wayfinder and Vader given that it’s his and it’s in his castle. Also reestablish who Kylo’s grandfather is before the Emperor brings him up and adds a little bit more of set up to the reveal of “I have been every voice you have ever heard of inside your head.”
French translation:
“Vous n’êtes qu’un fantôme, dans un clone en décomposition”
I always get worried about disrupting continuity. I seem to get blamed for that a lot.

I think it might be interesting to add a line like “You will find the power you seek” when Kylo holds the Wayfinder in his hand to complete an interaction with “Grandson”.

Or just “Finish what I started…” for a callback to TFA.
I’m all right with this idea being developed here, but I don’t want to insert a Vader line on Mustafar for Ascendant. I’d rather the scene play out wordlessly (with the barely perceptible added “Find me” chant) until we get to Palpatine himself.

Here’s a version of that: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZLzJFaZ4dN8hbpuYoOcGc1dIuepbvMDO/view?usp=sharing
I think it does serve as a nice callback to TFA.

I completely understand and I thank you for allowing the entertainment of the idea!
Kind of a link in from the Rogue One thread discussion - if we ever choose to commission Ryan Golden I’d be willing to pitch in a bit just to have him say that line for this scene.
I don’t think AI Vader sounds fully there quite yet. Which is surprising because AI Kylo Ren (masked) sounded pretty darn good when it got it right.

I’m basically using soundbites from the OT to train the clone so it should theoretically sound the same. I’m trying to get different takes to see if he gets closer. Do you think it is a performance issue? Is it too subdued?
It just sounds like a Darth Vader voice performance from a video game. Voice clones can be a perfect 1:1 and still not sound right because it depends on the intonation and manner of speaking so much. Just the little ways that somebody shifts their voice and pronunciation in a performance.

I wonder if it would be better to use JEJ’s many audiobook narrations as a blueprint instead of stuff from the OT and just tweaking it to make it sound more like Vader. I know he’s at least done an audiobook for the Bible.
Even using JEJ’s performance as Vader from the movies doesn’t give you the energy and annunciation Vader has when he speaks. When it comes to Vader you are better off reusing lines from the movies or hiring a voice actor.
The hardest thing has definitely been to generate a performance that doesn’t just feel like JEJ doing a cold read, but rather him performing Vader. I took another stab at it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gjKx7o3NC9aTZX1nDYD8ItbkJ6xn8BSp/view?usp=sharing
I think I notice improvement but I have been going insane listening to a million takes so I might just have tunnel vision lol
It sounds like JEJ - doing an interview.
We ran into this same issue with my Mark Hamill clone. Just the way the actor voices the character is completely incompatible with their normal speaking voice (which is what ElevenLabs always emulates).
If you wanted to have him say “Grandson”, I wonder if you could take him saying “Grand Inquisitor” from the Kenobi series, and him saying “Son” from the end of Empire Strikes Back when he is calling out to Luke.
You could also amalgamate the existing “Find me…” line, but use Vader saying “me…” (maybe taken from “join me…”), so it is a mix between Palpatine and Vader’s voice.
You could do something similar with the line “Fulfill your destiny” and let it be a combo of Palpatine (and/or Snoke) and Vader’s voices, since they all say some variation of that line. “Fulfill/it is your destiny.” Or just let Vader’s line play out as-is when he gets to the Wayfinder.

I have taken your advice of cobbling together pre existing lines: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RePciUcAavIqVLOfWRVp3eNg0wXYEMcB/view?usp=sharing
Now it does sound like him imo.
Yup, that sounds pretty darn good. I’d just make it quieter and more subtle.
im not trying to be nitpicky but i have noticed that lukes green lightsaber hue switches when you see him pull his mask up in the flashback sequence? i think this is an effect caused by the lightsaber color switch of leais saber? is this maybe possible to fix?
