You would also have to imply that Jango purposefully planted the dart, which leads the Jedi to Kamino.
A while ago I suggested inserting a closeup of Jango holding the dart after his meeting with Zam. It’s a little change, but it would emphasis the importance of the dart and hint at a greater plan.
On the one hand, that would explain why this one time he uses a solid projectile that could be traced instead of a blaster bolt. On the other, is it possible that this was a mistake on Jango’s part and the Jedi weren’t supposed to follow him? 'Cause it seems awfully convoluted that he’d outsource a failed assassination just to get the Jedi to find Kamino. It’s perfectly possible they were intended to find it, but not right away, but when they did, Dooku just rolled with it, since it just meant starting the Clone Wars a little earlier than scheduled.
