I certainly agree with you on the Greedo issue. That was a horrible idea to me, even seeing the SE's first as I did. It weakened Han in a way, as many have said. What he did for the DVD is a little more acceptable. I can barely grasp that they may have shot at the same time. Maybe Han knew Greedo was getting ready to shoot and was merely preparing, I don't know. Whatever the reason is, Lucas better have a good reason for it.

I also want to make it clear that I don't really have anything against anyone who likes the original versions, I can see why, as I explained above. I came here becuase, in addition to being interested in Garrett's work on ROTE, I am fascinated by the dedication and interest people have in preserving classic video, be it the OOT, the holiday special, the Star Tours ride video, non0-star wars projects such as Blade Runner, etc. Plus, this is an excellent place to discuss general Star Wars or non-star wars related topics, such as the issue with the death star I posted a few minutes ago. It really was a brilliant idea of Jay to create this site for everyone to gather, as it is an excellent source for those like-minded people interested in film preservation.
