Any old paramount dvd release with the widescreen banner on the bottom likely has the theatrical mix

deep impact, black rain, Truman show, days of thunderIf you’re referring to the 2.0 tracks on those DVDs then likely they aren’t, Paramount created a lot of 2.0 downmixes of 5.1 tracks those DVDs had because at that time a lot of players weren’t 5.1 comparable and weren’t the best at automatically downmixing them
no some of the 5.1 's . I know the DVD 2.0 of Witness is a downmix cause it has the same SFX as the 5.1 and the LD has the original SFX.
Airplane and Grease had downmixes as well
Did Witness have new sound effects?
The gunshots during the shoot out in the car park are altered a bit to sound more modern on the dvd / blu-ray
Pet sematary dvd 2.0 might be original track not sure but I prefer it over the 5.1 on the 4k.
