Used this as a chance to see one of the OT in the theaters for the first time, with a packed theater to boot. Fun experience, even if it was a less than stellar cut. And oh boy did I notice the frozen grain in the current master, but the soundscape made up for it to a certain degree. And the relatively minimal changes in the back half of the film made me feel as though I was watching the original, even if only briefly.
