Lapti Nek in Battlefront II

I was just playing assult mode in Mos Eiley (heroes vs. villiians). It's one of the songs in the revolving playlist. It's always sweet to see/hear elements of the O-OT in something new. Fighting as Darth Maul to the song is rather odd, but very amusing, I must say.

Ooh...is this the version with vocals or without?

Can the music be ripped from this game? Is there anything different from what is commercially available? I know that the EPI game had music not available until the Ultimate Edition was released, which is why I ask...

It's the old version on the original Jedi soundtrack. So, no, it's not availible on the widely spread current soundtrack.

there is a lp single floating around out there which has two different versions of lapti nek, and it usually goes for a lot of money on ebay. It was an LP from 1983.

Wait, it's the film version and not the soundtrack version? Dear crap, if it is, please rip it somehow.

See if there's a way to turn the sound effects and dialogue all the way down and turn the music all the way up. A lot of games have options like that.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

There should be a way to rip it directly from the disc on the PC version.

This would be like Mana from Heaven if it is the version from the film and not from the soundtrack...

What other music is in the game KJ? Any of the un-released AOTC or ROTS music?

Mostly well known tracks. Good veriety though. I'm too busy taking out Rebels while being reminded that Lord Vader does not appreciate failure to really catalogue. It's possible though.

There is a fair amount of unreleased ROTS music on the disc, and on the wookie expansion pack to the Star Wars MMORPG. That music has been used RIGHT HERE to try and recreate the film version of "the Battle of the Heroes" as faithfully as possible. There's a couple patch jobs that had to be faked, it appears, but for the most part, it's very faithful.

Has there been an attempt to reconstruct the films soundtrack by using the soundtracks from other star wars movies that ROTS used? I know that the re-entry scene is originally from TPM, and on it's 2-disc set. As well as the scene where anakin marches on the Jedi temple is on the AOTC soundtrack. I'd like to see a 2-disc set for ROTS, or to reconstruct the full version of the films score.

There is one. It also includes cues from the various video games as well. Same thing has been done for Clones.

Actually I think it's Yub Nub. That's the only O-OT theme you hear in the heroes and villians in Mos Eisly because I heard no Lapti Nek

Darn, I just played the level, the yub yub is there and its the same version as on the Ewoks movie soundtrack. Finally it got around to Jedi Rocks, then lapti nek, but its just the same damn song that you find everywhere online, its not the version you hear in the movie film version which sounds way different.
