In a world where the ‘Episode 9’ that was made ended up being a net negative overall, I wouldn’t rule it out. But I imagine treating the new film as Episode 10 as yet another new beginning several years later. And I’m less bothered about whether it’ll fit into a trilogy by the end of it.
