Just watched your film!
I can not say I remember much of the series, but the time flew by and at no time did I feel like I was missing anything. Your editing was (almost) flawless and you managed to put together a fast-paced, cohesive story.

Obviously, it was a bold decision to cut Maya’s plot line, and I am not sure if that helped or hurt your film.
In my opinion, you could go one of two ways: you could remove her from your fanedit entirely, or you could include more of her story, making your cut a little longer.

If it were me, I would have kept the original opening instead of Yelena’s mission (although it’s a cool scene), I would have kept the Tracksuits’ dialogue to a minimum (so ridiculous), and I would have removed the LARPers completely (making Klint get the suit off-screen) leaving more room for Echo.

But all in all, it was a very enjoyable experience and a fun way to revisit the series!
