I was talking more like cutting right when the window breaks. If you do that, you can still keep most of the panning shot. But your way of doing it does have its advantages. It’s cool how the chorus comes in for when they do the jump, and I like how it flows cutting straight from the landing to the Qui-Gon swing.
Here’s one closer to what I think you mean. If it were cut in a frame earlier you’d get the tail end of the tilt up.

Or maybe you mean like a smash cut that retains most of but not all of the tilt movement itself. Could be adjusted by a few frames.
