It is much more difficult for me to assess these edits than the Mandalorian ones because, unlike that series, this one seems practically flawless from start to finish. Where in the first I see an almost repair work (not because what you omit is not good, but because as a whole I see that not everything contributes to the core of the story), in this one I feel that the objective is to make it work in another medium, and the truth is that I think you succeed.
I have seen the two films this weekend and they have seemed to me to be two thrillers with exquisite pacing (I have not noticed the weight of the three hours at all), with excellent decisions when it comes to managing the plots of the series and the information from the flashbacks, which I think is distributed even better than following the series, at least when doing it week by week.
I think it’s another great job, possibly as movies are better than The Mandalorian and I love the idea of doing a marathon that culminates in Rogue One once the second season is available.
