Why would Disney+ change fps in the remaster? I thought all modern digital devices played nice with different frame rates.

I know the USA season 1-3 DVDs had some missing songs for rights issues. Or maybe it was a case of using the shorter edit. Anyone know does that apply to D+?

Speaking of those DVDs, season 1 had lyrics in subtitles for the songs, but 2 and 3 had [“singing (the name of the song)”] through the whole thing with no lyrics. Not good. Something changed after season 1 DVDs, because there was also a great trivia track the others didn’t have (Muppet Morsels.)

The season 1 set is a classic of the “mass market deluxe special edition DVD” age. The other two are B+ because of some good classic bonus features, but would be A with the other stuff.

Nowadays if you want bonus features or the best video quality, it’s on some limited print $450 box set for die hard fans only.

Anyway I’d love to find a set of the most uncut versions, especially if they are pal video for the proper speed. Or the censored Muppets/Sesame/Fraggles Xmas special, the John Denver special, or anything else that was shortened on home video.
