Have you done any AI tests using your isolated Jar Jar lines yet, Eddie?
That’d even tie in nicely when Qui-Gon gives a knowing smile when Boss Nass agrees to help.
Y’know, for an edit that removes meeting Boss Nass at the start of the movie. Like mine.
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
Exactly! And it leaves it up to the viewer, both in terms of whether or not Jar Jar’s got hidden smarts under his apparent idiocy, and whether or not the Jedi just had a feeling they should let the whole situation just play out.

Nope! I’m not going to have time to do that soon, but the file and index document are still available for anyone who’d like to try!
Where are these files located?

Does the Clone Wars have 5.1 audio which could isolate his voice better? Most of the sources I use in ElevenLabs are mono or stereo, anyway.

The show is mixed in 5.1.
The name’s Lawson. Noah Lawson.
Them ancient VHS based fan edits of TPM that subtitled Jar Jar would be amazed.

Yep. Rarely there’s a little bleed into the voice track, but generally it’s clean. The file I shared has all his voice lines from the movies and TCW, so you can just demux it to grab the voice tracks. Video track has the exact text (and reference timecodes), as does the spreadsheet.
Just throwing this deepfake I made of Wedge for fun:
This was made using a program called Swapface. You upload the video (obviously) and then a SINGLE image of the person you want to deepfake. And it does it all…very quickly actually.
It obviously isn’t quite good enough to be used in an edit. It’s funny that it worked as well as it did because I used a tiny black and white image of Denis Lawson.
Even if someone could make a good deepfake for Wedge in this scene, I’m not sure it would still work because of the actors head shape? It’s just too off imo.
Download this now if you want it, cuz it expires tomorrow.

Not bad.

Honestly it looks pretty good in the still shots. It’s when he talks that it becomes noticeable.
I like you, let us burn things together.
Ok, yes, it’s not a deepfake…but it is AI. And it’s pretty amazing.

Here’s a video I made with some examples from ANH:

Oh wow, that’s amazing!
Impressive. Seems like at least right now it’d be better suited to specific issues of audio repair rather than a blanket application. I wonder if it could smooth out the BluRay audio enough to… not suck so bad with inconsistent dialogue bordering on each other.
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
Completely agree. It would be awful applied the same equally to all dialogue.
ANH absolutely suffers the most in this aspect which is why it came to mind first.

The mix of both is pretty impressive. What’s the methodology there, are you literally playing both the original center track and the enhanced track at the same time? Or is something else going on, a slider on the effect or what?
Thanks!
Yes, the mix is simply playing both tracks at the same time. I’ve lowered the original some and the enhanced version is more prominent.
I would think one would have to adjust it on a case by case basis.

That’s really cool. Are you planning an edit with new enhanced audio?

Thanks! No, I’m not planning a ANH edit…I guess I’d like too…but I’d have to do too many fx shots that I don’t know how to do! 😆

Plagueis can now exist in the sequels
That tool is going to be insane for creating new VFX for fan edits. Very exciting stuff.
Oh wow that looks super cool!
Edit: I requested beta access. Let’s see if I get it.
