Yes, that would be good in a fan edit, but not in an extended edition. This thread is about effectively re-inserting the deleted scenes without "tinkering" with plot points and character nuances. You oughta get into making a custom edit. It's quite fun, and it's the best way to tailor the movie exactly the way you want it.
