Yeah but that’s just cross wires… The actual scene that was meant to come before it is still in the film it’s just moved to another part of the film.

And as I said previously I don’t mind that they used that shot and I think it’s warranted to “explain” the viewscreen but what is on the screen does not do the story many favors.

But the fact Motti is not in the shot with the white dressed officer is the dead give away it was an insert to explain the viewscreen. And it did a good job of that but a poor job with what was displayed on it.

Personally I think It’s better constructed in the radio drama version of the scene.

I’m only talking about the shot where he has his arms crossed behind his back and the white officer never once did I say anything about that apart from the stars should be heading in the opposite direction to the planet.
