Ok so they decided Alderaan looked no good so they decided to keep the one shot of it looking different and then made sure all the others looked the same?

I think that scene is in the film to simply explain the viewscreen but it’s a bit unfortunate thay had not loaded something else in the slide projector…

To me anyway this seems like Yavin 4. Not Alderaan but it is perhaps Alderaan before it became Yavin… They might even have shots of a ben kenobi that did not die on yavin 4 depending on the shooting schedule…

I call it a mistake and enough people have put Alderaan in the shot all I’m sayibg is “No! Get rid of it, it’s not helping the story” the story is good but having the planet there to explain the viewscreen ruins the story.

The guy in the white who gestures with tarkin even inherited motti’s footsteps from the soundmix where Motti now has none.

Leia with the troops and Vader I don’t think has a soundmix at all just music. Put the footsteps the guy in white is given and you will see that it is Motti’s

Vader stops breathing throughout the scene too.
