The School Assignment Help Thread

Since my "drama class help" thread seemed to get the job done rather nicely, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread like this so that other students can get help with any assignments they may have. W're all reasonable people here (for the most part ), I'm sure we can help each other out.

I'm having to write a persuasive essay for English class, and I'm gonna do it on how video games aren't "destroying our nation's youth and all that codswallop. Would anyone be able to help me out/ provide me with facts/ resources? I'll post this in the Video Games thread too, cuz I'd be surprised if anyone actually checked this thread.

I think everyone else is too busy playing games to do any work.

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

I'm not sure how much help it will be, but when I did a term paper on video games, a great book my friend had entitled Game Over was used for the bulk of my information. It's a very, very good book, mostly about the rise of Nintendo, starting from its beginnings in the 19th century, but I believe there are some parts in it about video games and their effects on users. I've actually tried to find this book to buy it, but I've heard it was out of print. I'd love to be able to find a copy, though.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.
