Sent to both of you

Can you send it to me too? I recently bought the Complete Quest Blu-Ray with the intention of making an isolated score and correcting the soundtrack and color, but I see MySpleen beat me to it almost a decade ago

Why would you need to do that? The Australian Blu-ray disc release and French Blu-ray disc re-release have the corrected soundtrack via the mono and color. It’s the Extended International Cut and not the USA Theatrical Editions on those two releases. Only thing you’d need to do is the isolated score and that’s it. MySpleen can fuck off.

So wait, correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re saying the version on the Complete Quest Blu-ray that I have has the original mono and color? I didn’t notice a mono track on my copy. Are you saying I should find the Australian and/or French one instead?

Nope, it doesn’t. Import the Australian BD from JB Hifi or FishPond, it’s quite inexpensive There’s a 2-Disc Australia BD release which has both Barbarian and Destroyer which are far superior to the USA BDs. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Conan-the-Barbarian-and-Conan-the-Destroyer-Blu-ray/45476/
I only own the USA BD because it has a cut exclusive to it. The Complete Quest USA BD release doesn’t have the original mono (lossy) and corrected colors. Only two things I don’t really like about the Australian BD, which I’ve owned for awhile, is the cover doesn’t use the original poster nor font, and the OG mono track (for the Extended Cut) is lossy instead of lossless.
From DVDCompare.net: This release is confirmed to have the corrected audio AND video (the nightfilter issue), and the addition of the original mono track.
For Conan the Destroyer, tons of other releases on Blu-ray disc, other countries, have far more bonus features compared to the USA BD. BUT, the UK BD of Conan the Destroyer is the only release which has the original cinema mono track in lossless. All the other BDs on the planet, including USA, use the 5.1 remix.
I’m not at all interested in the woefully pitiful BD25 Extended Blu-ray disc from this project, since the Australian Blu-ray disc is vastly superior, but for the BD50 USA Theatrical Cut. Of which I’d put with the USA Blu-ray disc.
BUTTE, it’d be even more awesome if someone did a 4K 35mm scan of the USA cuts of both CONAN THE BARBARIAN and CONAN THE DESTROYER. Especially for the audio.
