After watching this through in full, I was THOROUGHLY impressed. Episode 1 of smudger9’s Mando is on its own one of my favorite Star Wars movies, period.
The cuts are seamless. Not at any point in the edit did it feel like I was watching an edit.
The pacing is excellent, certain scenes are removed in the final act of the film to up the tension and also increase the emotional payoff. Having the audience wonder what happened to Grogru after seeing Kuill dead and then getting the reveal of IG 88 riding with Grogru is extremely satisfying.

So I didn’t know what the hell fanedits were. Until, my little brother is like they made a new version of ROS and I’m like no way and he made me watch Hal 9000’s version and it was so good. Now I’ve been devouring fan edits for a lot of not so good stuff like last Jedi, Kenobi etc. I saw over the internet that your edit for Mando season 1 was the best. Hey Hal9000 nice to see you here bruv, love your fucking edits it has exposed me to a new area of films and shows. Hey by any chance did you ever edit solo as that was a pretty weak film in my opinion. If not any edits of your own can you suggest some good ones made by others in your opinion?

Best way is to message the editor. You could also try fanedit (dot) info. But, it’s not updated consistently.

This edit is incredible! I mean, The Mandalorian is a great series but ,like most of series, has filler episodes, characters say and do things completely useless. This edit made all in the right way and all works perfectly.
Anyway, i didn’t appreciate so much the way to make this movie a “star wars movie”, i mean the crawl is useful to introduce the story and to cut many and many useless minutes, but i think the crawl is only for the Skywalker Saga. The same thing about the ending theme. The mandalorian’s score is so beautiful like John Williams’s score, there isn’t a reason to substitute the soundtrack with Williams’s soundtrack.
Anyway, the movie is great, brilliant and i can’t wait to watch the others episodes.
I have returned back to the world of fun and enjoyment. i would love a copy of this. I can watch this and finish Andor!

as others said before me: Very well made edit! Alhtough I’m a huge fan of Mandalorian Season 1, I really liked what you did with it.
I always liked the opening sequence with the Mythrol, but I totally agree, that it’s not necessary to include in the story. Same goes for other parts that were cut - overall the story flows really well that way!
The inclusion of the Jawas and therefore the longer Mudhorn sequence adds the needed bonding time for Mando and Grogu, something I felt was missing in previous versions of this edit. Also special thumbs up for the Boba Fett scenes. The inclusion here feels really natural and gives a better feeling of where Boba is at that time. I think the payoff in Mandalorian episode 3 therefore is a lot better, since we follow Boba much earlier in your edits.
