I’ve made custom subs for “LoE Padmé Lives” in Brazilian Portuguese. I also use them .sup’d and muxed, but mimicking Project Threepio styling. Could you share a screenshot of those PGS in action?

I want to invite anyone who wants… to adapt subtitles for any of my projects (prequels, originals, sequels, and Rogue One) into other languages. Right now most of them aside from Ascendant have just English, French, and Spanish. I can adjust sync, but without speaking the language it’s rather difficult to reliably get new languages onboard.
Why, you ask?
Because schorman13 kindly showed me how to create gorgeous PGS subtitles that closely mimic the format of the burned-in alien subtitles. It makes for a much more pleasant viewing experience if you use subtitles. I’m enamored with them and want to add them to my current projects.
The .sup format they use, however, can’t be added to the player (at least not VLC) and need to be muxed into the file itself. So, whatever interest anyone may have in adding a language to any of these, it’s better to do it now.
Feel free to respond here or PM me if you’re interested in doing so. Don’t wait until finished, as I’d like to be aware so I can wait if need be. I’ll post this in both TROS and COD’s threads.

Can’t until tomorrow, but I will!
If you have them as .srt files I’d be happy to take them and give them this treatment to include.
Sure thing. I’ll just check for any potential tweaks and then send them your way.
Here’s how they’ll look for the prequels. There’s a different style for ANH and ROTJ. I’ll use these for the OT and ST, so they’ll look and feel extremely close to the familiar burned-in alien subtitles from the OT.
Hi Hal, I’ve heard a lot about your edits and would love to see them!

May I have a link please?

I would like to thank Hal 9000 for his hard work on this. You made this movie tolerable to watch with the removal of all the cringeworthy elements - Jar Jar in particular.
I also liked you toning down Kenobi’s misguided animosity towards Anakin. Like most people, I found their disjointed relationship out of place in the entire trilogy.
Hey Hal, I would love to see your edits for both the sequel and prequel trilogy if possible, I think they would be awesome to watch.
PM sent.
Hi Hal, I’m also interested in the prequel and sequel trilogies. Thanks for all you do!

Are these subtitles available to download yet? They’re beautiful, and the holidays have got me in the mood for a rewatch!
They’ve been baked into the high quality 1080p versions. So seek them out from wherever you’d gotten them before and they’ll be included.
They only work for this format, being PGS BluRay subtitles; they don’t work for mp4 files.
Ah, I see - thanks for clarifying! I downloaded the most recent Smaller 1080p so this makes sense. Time to make some extra room on the old hard drive!
Hi, I’d like to watch the edits for the prequels
